1. About SnagDeals

SnagDeals is a personal project that aggregates publicly available clearance and sale pricing from Canadian retailer websites. It is provided free of charge, without warranty, and without any guarantee of uptime or data accuracy.

2. Use at your own risk

Prices, availability, and stock levels shown on SnagDeals are sourced by automated scrapers and may be stale, incorrect, or incomplete. They do not constitute an offer to sell. Always confirm price and availability directly with the retailer before making a purchase decision or driving to a store.

SnagDeals is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any retailer whose prices appear on this site, including Canada Computers, Canadian Tire, Staples, or Newegg Canada.

3. Account access

Browsing deals requires no account. Creating an account (watchlists, alerts, saved searches) requires signing in with Google or a one-time email magic link and being on the invite allowlist when the beta is invite-only. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account and OAuth credentials secure.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• scrape, bulk-download, or automate requests to SnagDeals;
• attempt to access any account or data that is not yours;
• use the service for any unlawful purpose.

5. Data source and accuracy

SnagDeals collects publicly listed prices and product information from retailer websites using automated HTTP requests. We do not log in to retailer accounts, circumvent access controls, or harvest personal data from retailer sites.

Scraped data is not guaranteed to be current. Scraper runs occur on a scheduled cadence (typically every few hours) and can lag, fail, or be blocked at any time. The “last checked” timestamp shown on the site reflects when our scraper last successfully retrieved data, not when you viewed the page.

Confirm before driving. Stock levels, store availability, and pricing can change between our last scrape and your visit. We strongly recommend verifying current price and in-store availability on the retailer’s own website before travelling to a store.

6. Affiliate disclosure

Where outbound links to retailer product pages include an affiliate tracking parameter (e.g. utm_source=snagdeals), SnagDeals may earn a commission if you make a qualifying purchase. This never affects which deals appear, the discount thresholds applied, or the ranking of results. If a specific page carries affiliate links, a disclosure notice will appear on that page.

7. Limitation of liability

SnagDeals is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the operator of SnagDeals is not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or reliance on its data.

8. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of SnagDeals after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
